At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager to be the cornerstone of our Commerce team by leading our In Store Experience! You will define the roadmap and strategy for our Point of Sale and In Store Experience products across surfaces, delivering delightful commerce products to help small businesses run and grow.  

What you'll get to do...

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap for our POS and in-store experience products, aligning with company strategy and merchant needs.
  • Partner closely with design, engineering, data, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact features on time and at scale.
  • Analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to find opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Define clear success metrics and leverage data-driven insights to iterate and improve product performance.
  • Champion the voice of the customer, conducting regular user research and capturing feedback to advise product decisions. 

Your experience should include...

  • 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in POS, retail, or SaaS platforms.
  • Proven success in shipping and scaling complex, customer-facing products.
  • Deep understanding of in-store commerce workflows and merchant pain points.
  • Strong technical acumen; experience working closely with engineering to deliver robust, high-quality software solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
  • Relentless focus on user experience and customer outcomes.
  • Data-driven approach; comfortable with analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing.

At GoDaddy, we subscribe to a “pay for performance” approach that considers our total compensation to ensure we offer competitive pay. Total compensation elements vary based on role, but in addition to our base pay offering, may include: 

  • Comprehensive benefits (may vary based on location)
  • Short-Term Incentives (annual bonus, sales incentive pay) - eligibility dependent on role and company and/or individual performance
  • Long-Term Incentives (equity) - eligibility dependent on role 

We are proud to provide pay transparency to our candidates. In the United States, we have four geographic pay groups (Groups). GoDaddy's target compensation is determined based on your location and varies based on an individual's qualifications, skills and experience at the time of the offer. For this role, our targeted base pay ranges for new hires in each US Group are: 

  • Group 1: $127,000.00 – $191,000.00
  • Group 2: $142,500.00 – $213,500.00
  • Group 3: $151,200.00 – $226,800.00
  • Group 4: $165,000.00 – $248,000.00
