GoDaddy’s Corporate Technology organization powers the systems that keep our business running – from HR to Finance to Legal. The SaaS Platform Development (Workday) team builds and maintains integrations and data pipelines that connect these systems, automate workflows, and deliver trusted data across the enterprise.

We’re looking for an engineer who can bridge the worlds of application integration and data engineering – someone excited to move data and business processes across platforms like Workday, AWS, Greenhouse, and more. This role will help build reusable integration frameworks, mentor others on modern data practices, and enable GoDaddy’s internal teams to make better, faster, and data-driven decisions.

This position sits at the intersection of systems and data – helping GoDaddy’s corporate platforms communicate seamlessly and making high-quality data readily available to our business. You’ll play a key part in shaping the future of integration and data engineering at GoDaddy, empowering your teammates to build scalable, maintainable, and secure data-driven systems!

What you'll get to do...

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations and data pipelines across GoDaddy's core business systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Glint, Docebo, AWS), including ingesting, transforming, and publishing data between SaaS systems and AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Airflow, Step Functions)
  • Develop and maintain APIs and automated workflows to enable operational reporting, analytics, and process automation while implementing data validation, logging, and error handling frameworks for reliable and scalable data flow
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and other corporate teams to understand their needs and translate them into secure, efficient technical solutions that support business operations.
  • Assist teams in becoming versatile professionals by sharing data pipeline techniques and exploring integration platforms
  • Work in an agile setting, iterating rapidly and constantly improving performance, observability, and sustainability of systems and processes

Your experience should include...

  • 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience with strong background in integrating 1st party and 3rd party (SaaS) applications (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Greenhouse, Docebo, etc.)
  • Proficiency with REST and SOAP APIs, including JSON, XML, and XSLT transformations, along with solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and relational database principles
  • Exposure to scripting and programming languages like Python, Java, or TypeScript for developing custom solutions and automations
  • Experience developing data pipelines or ETL processes using AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Airflow) and familiarity with CI/CD practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and modern software delivery automation
  • Comfortable building from scratch – you can design, code, and document robust solutions with minimal direction, demonstrating independence and technical problem-solving abilities
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to translate technical concepts to non-technical partners across HR and Finance, bridging the gap between technical implementation and business requirements

You might also have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, providing foundational knowledge for technical problem-solving
  • Experience with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, or other ERP integration tools, along with knowledge of HR, Finance, or Treasury business processes and terminology
  • Familiarity with data governance, cataloging, or data quality frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations) to ensure robust data management practices
  • Experience deploying or handling data workloads in AWS to support scalable cloud-based data operations
