Join Our Team...

At GoDaddy, we are seeking a Senior, Automation & Analytics to join our Assurance, Risk & Compliance (ARC) Team! This role will be instrumental in transforming how our team—and our business—uses technology, automation, and data to handle risk and scale compliance. Reporting directly to the Director of Assurance, Risk, & Compliance, this role will primarily focus on building process automations, analytics pipelines, and dashboards that modernize how ARC delivers SOX, Internal Audit (IA), and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) outcomes. You’ll harness scripting, data engineering practices, and GenAI tools to scale testing, streamline workflows, and deliver real-time insights!

What you'll get to do...

  • Build, develop, and maintain automations, data pipelines, and CI/CD-enabled code repositories to streamline ARC processes (SOX, IA, ERM)—including control testing, evidence collection, population sampling, issue tracking, and repeatable analytics and controls automation, with proper documentation for scalability and reuse
  • Develop reusable analytics and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) using SQL and Python, to provide operational and risk transparency for leadership and control owners
  • Assist with implementing Atlassian Jira-based solutions (projects, workflows, automation rules, forms, integrations) that improve traceability and reduce manual effort
  • Apply GenAI responsibly to augment documentation, test procedures, data analysis, and stakeholder self-service (e.g., prompt design, evaluation, and guardrails)
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams across time zones, with some overlap to U.S. hours, to define requirements, deliver scalable technical solutions, support automation initiatives, measure impact, and communicate progress through iterative delivery
  • Establish quality controls, monitoring, across ARC's knowledgebase (e.g., runbooks, guides) to ensure reliability, audit ability, and enablement for the team and stakeholders

Your experience should include...

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in process automation and data analytics/engineering roles, building production-grade scripts, pipelines, and dashboards
  • Proficiency with Python and SQL for data wrangling, automation, and analytical scripting (e.g., pandas, scheduled jobs, API integrations)
  • Ability to translate process requirements into technical designs, estimate effort, deliver iteratively, and document solutions for re-use
  • Experience building and maintaining BI dashboards (e.g., Power BI) including data modeling, and performance tuning
  • Practical experience automating workflows in tools like Jira (project configuration, automation rules, webhooks) or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts and modern developer practices (e.g., Git, code reviews, secrets management, CI/CD, containerization is a plus)
  • Comfortable evaluating and using GenAI tooling (prompting, summarization, pattern extraction) with attention to data privacy and accuracy

You might also have...

  • Exposure to SOX/IA/ERM concepts, control testing, and frameworks (COSO/COBIT)
  • Experience with Workday, AWS Quick Sight, and SharePoint
  • Experience with statistical sampling; certifications such as CISA/CIA or analytics credentials (e.g., Microsoft Power BI)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information systems, data/analytics, or a related field

We've got your back...  We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes), bonus/incentive eligibility, equity grants, participation in our employee stock purchase plan, competitive health benefits, and other family-friendly benefits including parental leave.
