This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

As a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer in GoDaddy Information Security’s Enterprise & Infrastructure Security organization, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technologies and processes that secure GoDaddy’s workforce, endpoints, and data. You will drive cross-functional initiatives, mentor peers, and set standards for operational excellence and customer experience.

What you'll get to do...

  • Lead deployment, optimization, and architecture of Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) technology across GoDaddy’s diverse environments, including on-premises, cloud, and managed environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and future growth
  • Build, implement, and continuously improve agent-based and network-based vulnerability management processes, establishing guidelines and driving adoption across teams
  • Serve as the main contact for complex security issues. Address customer concerns, resolve blockers across teams, and implement balanced solutions to improve both operational reliability and user experience
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promote guidelines, lead design reviews, establish repeatable processes and automation, and contribute to internal open source and technology working groups
  • Influence architectural strategy and team roadmap, communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, champion workforce-centric security solutions, and represent GoDaddy in both internal and external security forums

Your experience should include...

  • 7+ years in security engineering or operations within large-scale, complex environments
  • Proven ability to deploy and optimise endpoint protection technologies (EDR, vulnerability management) and mentor engineers
  • Strong Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and deep knowledge of networking, cloud security, and service provider environments
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, incident response, and conducting post-mortem analysis independently
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban and experience leading agile ceremonies and design reviews

You might also have...

  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or equivalent
  • Experience presenting at industry conferences or contributing to security research
