Join us from June 29, 2026, to September 4, 2026, for a 10-week experience. Trainees will work three days per week, in-office, for a total of 24 hours per week. You'll be placed in a cohort of five students where you'll collaborate on projects and tasks with guidance from experienced GoDaddy leaders.

Students must commit to and be available for the full 10-week program duration. This is a significant commitment, so please only apply if you can dedicate your summer to the full experience.

Our Future of Work Summer Camp is a pre-internship training program designed specifically for rising college freshmen and sophomores who are at the beginning of their technical journey. This program is ideal if you're still exploring different areas of tech, considering your major, or building experience to apply for internships in the future.

Over 10 weeks, you'll gain hands-on exposure to engineering, product management, and analytics projects, helping you build a strong foundation and an impressive resume – all while earning money and learning from industry professionals.

This program is designed for rising college freshmen and sophomores who:

  • Are currently enrolled in college and will be entering their freshman or sophomore year in Fall 2026
  • Live within commuting distance of our Kirkland, WA office (Seattle area)
  • Have some interest or exposure to technology, but are still relatively early in their technical education
  • Can commit to the full 10-week program (June 29 - September 4, 2026)

Please note: There is no relocation assistance or housing offered for this program. Only local students who can commute to the Kirkland office will be considered.

Absolutely! You'll earn $18.00 per hour, receive a laptop to use during the program, and enjoy free lunch on the days you're in the office. It's a great way to earn money over the summer while building valuable skills and experience.

We're welcoming 35 students total, divided into 7 cohorts of 5 students each. Each cohort focuses on different areas including engineering, product management, and analytics, and is led by experienced GoDaddy leaders who will mentor you throughout the program.

You'll work on real projects alongside GoDaddy teams in areas like engineering, product management, and analytics. This hands-on experience will help you understand what different tech roles involve and build foundational skills that strengthen your resume.

Depending on your cohort placement, your projects could include:

  • Introduction to coding and problem-solving
  • Building dashboards and working with data
  • Learning about AI, machine learning, and prompt engineering
  • Working with tools like React, SQL, HTML/JavaScript, JIRA, and more
  • Contributing to real analytics and product management projects

This program is designed for beginners, so you don't need advanced technical skills – just your curiosity, willingness to learn, and commitment to the full program.

Upon completion, you'll receive a certificate of completion and a strong addition to your resume that demonstrates real-world technical experience.

Important to note: This program is separate from GoDaddy's internship programs and is not a pipeline to future employment at GoDaddy. Think of it as a training program designed to help you build your resume, explore your interests in tech, and prepare you to apply for internships (whether at GoDaddy or other companies) in the future.

  • Build your resume: Gain hands-on project experience that will make you stand out when applying for internships later
  • Explore tech careers: Get exposure to engineering, analytics, and product management to help you decide on your major or career path
  • Develop foundational skills: Learn technical skills and professional workplace skills that will serve you throughout your career
  • Earn money: Get paid $18/hour while learning – no expensive bootcamp fees
  • Certificate of completion: Receive documentation of your experience to add to your resume and LinkedIn profile
  • Networking: Connect with tech professionals and other students starting their tech journey

Begin your journey by applying on our career site! If you meet the application requirements, you'll be invited to take a short HackerRank assessment to test your basic technical abilities (don't worry, it's designed for beginners!).

If you pass the assessment, you'll be invited to an "Interview Fair" at our GoDaddy Kirkland office in late April. This is your chance to visit our office, meet the program leaders, and interview for a spot in one of our cohorts.

We're looking for students who are eager to learn, can commit to the full program, and have a genuine interest in exploring technology – even if you're just getting started!

No, this program is independent and separate from GoDaddy's internship and full-time hiring programs. Completing the Summer Camp does not guarantee or provide a direct path to future internship or employment opportunities at GoDaddy.

However, the skills and experience you gain will absolutely help you when applying for internships in the future—whether at GoDaddy or other companies. Think of this as a stepping-stone that prepares you for the next level of your academic and career path!
