Location Details: United Kingdom, Remote

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Manage the development, implementation, and execution of health and safety awareness and compliance programs across GoDaddy’s global workforce. Promote a “threat to business” and “risk aware” culture through effective regulatory and security practices. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as the Security and Resilience subject matter expert for multiple business units and regional EMEA leadership providing flexible and agile support. Identify, evaluate and supervise enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions.

What you'll get to do...

  • Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in line with local and international standards, ensuring they are adapted to the needs of each country/US state
  • Health and Safety/Security Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategic measures to mitigate these risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees
  • Confirmed experience in developing and implementing physical security protocols and emergency response procedures within a corporate environment. This includes access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and security personnel management
  • Improve employee training and awareness: Build and implement comprehensive health and safety training initiatives for employees at every level, encouraging a safety-conscious culture throughout the entire organisation
  • Incident Management: Lead the response to any health and safety incidents, conducting detailed investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with local, regional, and global teams to ensure health and safety standards are consistently applied. Engage with external customers such as health and safety consultants, local authorities, and certification bodies

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years of experience in a health and safety role
  • 2+ years in a managerial position, preferably within a technology company
  • Previous involvement with a prominent law enforcement, intelligence, public service, or private sector security organisation 
  • Proficiency in business English
  • Experience managing people, multiple projects and vendors with successful delivery timely and on-budget in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid track record to thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires you to be proactive, self-sufficient, and handle your time optimally
