At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

GoDaddy is looking for a passionate, high-performing senior iOS engineer to join the Mobile Venture team in the journey to meet the vision of becoming an indispensable daily communication hub for Solo and Micro Small Businesses, so they can be independent and successful.

As an iOS engineer, you will join a team that is building a new application to support the growth of the product line of becoming a multi-messaging solution bridging all communication in a central unified inbox. This involved crafting a new scalable mobile application based on a new modern architecture, that seamlessly integrates with highly efficient newly built cloud infrastructure based on microservices providing a phenomenal customer experience.

What you'll get to do...

• Contribute to our mobile application(s) using Swift to deliver a compelling user experience.
• Understand nuances between Mobile platforms and provide advice and mentorship to other developers on handling these nuances.
• Participate in planning, architectural discussion, implementation, and maintenance of a Mobile application enabling personalized interactions with customers.
• Be accountable for code quality, writing unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Help and advise in the selection of the most appropriate frameworks to use with this product.
• Continuously learn and share new insights and technical concepts.

Your experience should include...

• Experience working with Swift.
• Working with various mobile architectures and techniques such as MVVM, DI.
• Writing automated tests using mocked data.
• Reactive programming using Combine.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience building software using agile concepts and processes.
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals of native development patterns and architecture.
• Strong emphasis on code quality paired with robust unit and UI Tests.
• Deep understanding of Design patterns and how they can be applied to mobile development.
• Demonstrated ability to develop production apps for IOS.
