This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced & proactive Compensation & Benefits Manager to support our rapid growth primarily in India. Reporting into Director Compensation & Benefits, this role partners closely with Global HR Business Partners, local business leaders, local HR & Operations teams to ensure successful design, delivery and communications of Compensation & Benefit programs. The primary role is focussed on India but will have a wider APAC & Middle East remit.

This role will be essential to the success of GoDaddy’s growth strategy. As a stand alone role it will be multifaceted from reviewing compensation practices regularly and adjusting to ensure we can compete for talent in the software market, defining & delivering a multi year benefits roadmap aligned to the global philosophy, to resolving employee critical issues and continuously improving the employee facing administration and self service capabilities.

What you'll get to do...

  • Responding rapidly to evolving business needs. Design, improve, implement & handle compliant country-specific compensation & benefit plans according to market practice, business objectives, and global best practice.
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and consulting to global & local HR partners and business leaders to build a common understanding of how our reward philosophy applies in India (example emphasis on total direct compensation over base pay)
  • Develop customized competitive offerings unique to India, such as additional compensation surveys, developing a contemporary wage structure & locally relevant benefits provision.
  • Crafting written, evidence based & commercial business cases to obtain leadership approval.
  • Successful execution of regular compensation cycles, including merit, bonus & equity planning, range development & compliance activities.
  • Driving Benefits services in the region, including managing local brokers/advisors, escalations, vendor selection and management, technology, automation and continuous improvement of employee experience (via Service Now).

Your experience should include...

  • A minimum of 6 years progressive experience in a dedicated compensation & benefits role as part of an international reward team.
  • ability to respond rapidly to multiple initiatives – Define problems, prioritise, consider options, seek collaborator input and proactively implement appropriate solutions.
  • Strong proactive interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead initiatives with minimal direction. Build credibility with local leaders and employees. Ability to summarise complex issues & solutions in a way suitable for various audiences.
  • Advanced excel skills – using Data manipulation techniques to offer insights and define solutions to business challenges. Likely to include formulas such as VLOOKUP & reference functions. pivot tables, charts and even macros.
  • Excellent customer service focus (employees, managers, colleagues & senior leaders)
  • Experience of supporting C&B in other countries such as Australia & Singapore would be a benefit.
