Location Details: 

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote designation.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, the Virgin Islands, Washington, or the metro cities of Austin, TX and Washington D.C.

 

Join our team...

Our Sales Representatives are the front of site, first line sales responders. Although we are responsible for sales and it is in our title, we wear several different hats, such as front line support and sales chat functions. Here at Sucuri we work with a wide range of people who operate websites from single website owners to agencies that run hundreds of websites. Our goal is to help remediate issues involving malware and to protect the sites from being attacked in the future.

 

What you'll get to do...

  • Maintain a positive, customer-first mindset
  • Educate customers on security related issues regarding their websites
  • Knowing our products inside and out so you can educate others on them
  • Responding promptly to customers inquiries via call or chat
  • Maintaining proper records of customer interactions
  • Ensuring customer happiness and providing customer support when needed
  • Lead generation including sending leads to Sales Consultants
  • Maintain customer care standards

 

Your experience should include...

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a fast paced environment
  • You're a self-starter that dedicatedly plans and prioritizes your day to complete tasks necessary with minimal supervision
  • This role is work from home so your internet speed needs to be at least 2mbs down and 2mbs up
  • You're at home work environment should be a quiet place to take and make calls when required and to be on chat uninterrupted
  • You meet the performance metrics required for this role such as schedule adherence

  • We take care of website security issues every single day so it's meaningful to know things like file transfer protocol, DNS, and SSH

 

Compensation...

As with many sales roles, our compensation combines both an initial starting hourly rate ($17-$20/hour) and the opportunity to earn additional income through our variable sales incentive plan. 

Schedule...

Monday- Friday 8am-5:00pm MT

At GoDaddy, we subscribe to a “pay for performance” approach that considers our total compensation to ensure we offer competitive pay. Total compensation elements vary based on role, but in addition to our base pay offering, may include: 

  • Comprehensive benefits (may vary based on location)
  • Short-Term Incentives (annual bonus, sales incentive pay) - eligibility dependent on role and company and/or individual performance
  • Long-Term Incentives (equity) - eligibility dependent on role 

We are proud to provide pay transparency to our candidates. In the United States, we have four geographic pay groups (Groups). GoDaddy's target compensation is determined based on your location and varies based on an individual's qualifications, skills and experience at the time of the offer. For this role, our targeted base pay ranges for new hires in each US Group are: 

  • All other US locations not listed below: $17.00 – $25.72
  • Austin, D.C. Metro, CA (non-Bay Area), HI, IL, MA, NH, OR, VA, WA: $17.00 – $25.72
  • New York City Metro, Kirkland/Seattle: $17.00 – $25.72
  • Bay Area (San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Palo Alto):  $17.00 – $25.72
