At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is an in-office position and you’ll be expected to work full-time in an office location, and therefore must live within commuting distance from your assigned office. You will work from this office beginning on your first day.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Join GoDaddy's Global IT Support team as a Desktop Support Technician in our Santa Clara office, where you'll be the face of IT for employees who rely on technology to do their best work every day. In this hands-on, 100% on-site role, you'll provide walk-up and escalated technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, workplace technology, and connectivity issues while delivering an exceptional customer experience.You'll collaborate closely with a globally distributed team of support professionals across North America, EMEA, and APAC, helping resolve both everyday technical requests and high-priority incidents in a fast-paced environment. What you'll get to do...
  • Provide front-line technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, operating system, peripheral, and account-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to productivity.
  • Manage and prioritize incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system, taking ownership from initial intake through troubleshooting, resolution, and follow-up communication.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, and support end-user devices including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, monitors, printers, conferencing equipment, and other workplace technologies.
  • Partner closely with employees, HR, Workplace Services, Security, and other cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless technology experience for onboarding, off-boarding, office moves, and day-to-day operational needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with employees, communicating technical solutions in a clear and user-friendly manner, and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while continuously identifying opportunities to improve support processes.
Your experience should include...
  • 1+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or a similar technical support role, with hands-on experience supporting end users in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, device, and user-related technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience managing service requests and incident tickets, with the ability to prioritize workload, maintain attention to detail, and drive issues through to resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams, support users with varying technical abilities, and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Highly organized and customer-focused, with a passion for delivering an exceptional support experience while successfully managing multiple requests and competing priorities.
You might also have...
  • Experience supporting employees in a fast-paced, global organization.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and identity management platforms.
  • Experience with device provisioning, onboarding, and offb-oarding processes.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity, and endpoint troubleshooting.
  • Experience providing in person / on-site technical support in an executive office environment.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are listed below. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, which may include a corporate bonus and/or equity awards, subject to the terms of applicable plans and individual eligibility.

Bay Area (Santa Clara, San Francisco) and Los Angeles:
$79,500—$119,500 USD
Austin, D.C. Metro, CA (non-Bay Area), HI, IL, MA, NH, OR, VA, WA:
$68,500—$102,500 USD
New York City Metro, Kirkland/Seattle:
$72,800—$109,200 USD
All other US locations not previously listed:
$61,000—$92,000 USD
