At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. The hiring manager can share more about what hybrid work might look like for this team.

At GoDaddy, we’re dedicated to empowering everyday entrepreneurs around the world. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we believe in creating an environment where talent thrives. As part of our global Talent Acquisition team, you’ll help shape the future of hiring at scale—driving innovation, championing inclusivity, and ensuring that we bring in the best people to fuel our mission.

What you'll get to do...

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruiting efforts across India. This is a strategic leadership role requiring deep expertise in talent markets, people leadership, stakeholder management, and modern recruiting practices. You will oversee high-volume Software Development Engineer hiring and specialized hiring while driving consistency, efficiency, and inclusion in how we attract and hire talent.

We are looking for a leader who can think strategically to build and sustain a high-performing recruiting team—one that goes beyond waiting for applicants and instead focuses on sourcing, maintaining pipelines, and engaging talent proactively. The right leader will be creative in solving problems, adaptable to changing business needs, and skilled at guiding recruiters to deliver consistently strong outcomes.

  • Lead and develop a team of recruiters across India, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and design recruiting strategies aligned to business priorities.
  • Build sourcing strategies that emphasize pipeline development, market mapping, and proactive outreach rather than solely applicant flow.
  • Coach recruiters on strategy, pipelining, talent engagement, and “keep warm” practices to ensure consistent, high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Translate recruiting data into clear stories and actionable insights to guide hiring decisions and influence senior leaders.
  • Proactively engage in conversations with stakeholders, using data and market insights to challenge assumptions and align hiring priorities.
  • Provide market intelligence with a strong focus on Pune and Gurugram talent ecosystems, advising leaders on availability, challenges, and competition.
  • Drive operational excellence in recruiting processes, tools, and data integrity to improve speed and quality of hiring.
  • Collaborate with our global recruiting team and report to a leader based in the US; maintain flexibility for some overlapping hours to ensure alignment.
  • Champion inclusive recruiting practices and strategies across all functions and levels.

Your experience should include...

  • 12+ years of recruiting experience, including 5+ years leading and managing recruiting teams, with proven experience coaching, mentoring, and inspiring high performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of the India talent market, particularly Pune and Gurugram, and demonstrated success in hiring for these regions.
  • Skilled in developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, leveraging data-driven insights and recruiting metrics to drive accountability and decision-making.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders, and to present clear, compelling talent stories to business leaders.
  • Experienced in working with global teams and comfortable reporting to US-based leadership.

You might also have...

  • Experience leading recruitment transformation projects.
  • Exposure to global recruiting operations.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership.
