At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Take part within a multichannel environment, turning strategic plans into digital marketing campaigns and ultimately influencing our customers’ success.

A primary function of this role is to use program management methodologies and tools to ensure outbound customer communication programs are built and deployed across a variety of communications channels as expected. As a Senior Project Manager, you will create clarity and visibility. This role enables the Marketing team to run the Campaign backlog smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with marketing groups, engineering teams and other partner teams to build processes, develop execution plans, coordinate campaigns utilizing our automation platform and databases, and optimize multi-channel plans. You will also play a key role within the team to help establish, document, and evangelize standard methodologies and processes.

What you'll get to do…

  • Oversee the daily execution of cross-channel marketing campaigns to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to manage the campaign backlog, define business requirements, and lead operations projects throughout the lifecycle.
  • Guide teams through every stage of delivery from initiation and design to implementation and handoff while maintaining clarity and accountability.
  • Drive planning activities such as grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives, reporting, and demos to keep projects on track.
  • Translate complex business requirements into actionable roadmaps and lead technical execution using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other internal platforms.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, Data Ops and Strategy, Marketing Managers, Campaign Ops, to achieve seamless execution.
  • Partner with QA to define monitoring and alerting guidelines, SLAs establish ground rules on defect management.
  • Manage team capacity and velocity, allocate tickets across EMM teams, and maintain visibility through Kanban and Scrum boards while streamlining processes in JIRA.
  • Serve as the primary intake point for new work, modernize CCM requirements, and identify opportunities to improve campaign organization and processes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, and Engineering teams to optimize workflows, enhance creative and lifecycle integration, and conduct retrospectives on campaign performance.

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years managing digital marketing projects in Agile environments across Email, WhatsApp, and SMS channels with strong focus on integrated customer communications.
  • Proficient in project management systems (Jira, Workfront) and advanced Excel analysis, transforming complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Metrics-driven professional with proven ability to build effective KPIs, measure program success, and leverage data to validate assumptions and drive decision-making.
  • Experienced in high-volume campaign marketing environments with demonstrated success coordinating cross-channel initiatives across email, SMS, and web platforms.
  • Strategic multitasker with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities simultaneously while maintaining focus on highest-impact deliverables.

You may also have…

  • Advanced Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master.
  • Working knowledge of one or more reporting systems – able to write Jira queries, create dashboards.
  • Ability to drive new processes, learn new systems and quickly lead and represent on emergent issues.
  • Ability to influence and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships.

At GoDaddy, we subscribe to a “pay for performance” approach that considers our total compensation to ensure we offer competitive pay. Total compensation elements vary based on role, but in addition to our base pay offering, may include: 

  • Comprehensive benefits (may vary based on location)
  • Short-Term Incentives (annual bonus, sales incentive pay) - eligibility dependent on role and company and/or individual performance
  • Long-Term Incentives (equity) - eligibility dependent on role 

We are proud to provide pay transparency to our candidates. In the United States, we have four geographic pay groups (Groups). GoDaddy's target compensation is determined based on your location and varies based on an individual's qualifications, skills and experience at the time of the offer. For this role, our targeted base pay ranges for new hires in each US Group are: 

  • Group 1: $73,500.00 – $110,500.00
  • Group 2: $82,500.00 – $123,500.00
  • Group 3: $87,600.00 – $131,400.00
  • Group 4: $95,500.00 – $143,500.00
